Don Roth is the founder of EMP Global and has been its managing partner since 1992. Mr. Roth served as Vice President and Treasurer of the World Bank from 1988-1992. He has lived and worked as an investment banker in Hong Kong, London, New York and Tokyo. He was Chairman and Chief Executive, Merrill Lynch Europe Ltd. From 1992 to 1998 he was a Director at the Center for International Private Enterprise and he serves on the Advisory Board to The Republic of Ireland’s National Treasury Management Agency. He also serves as a Commissioner of the National Pension Reserve Fund of Ireland.
Mr. Roth has a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University, M.B.A. in International Finance from University of Chicago and a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics in International Monetary Economics.
